I’m afraid my pubic area will look bigger after a tummy tuck surgery. What can be done to address that issue?
Heartland Plastic and Hand Surgery welcomes men and women from Poplar Bluff, Arnold and other nearby communities.
During individual one-on-one consultations, concerns regarding the pubic area, or what is medically called the mons pubis, can be addressed. The mons pubis area is slightly reduced as a standard part of the tummy tuck procedure. For patients who have enlargement of this area out of proportion or normal expectations, additional maneuvers during an extended tummy tuck or mini tummy tuck operation can be undertaken to reduce excess skin and fat. This can include additional cosmetic surgery like targeted liposuction, restructuring of abdominal muscles, and/or direct removal of extra or redundant tissue.
