What is SKINVIVE™?

The newest innovation for skin quality is finally here! SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is the first and only hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable treatment to improve skin smoothness of the cheeks. Created with hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance that attracts water, SKINVIVE™ works beneath the skin’s surface to improve cheek smoothness and achieve healthier-looking skin.

Is SKINVIVE™ Right for Me?

SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is designed to temporarily increase hydration to improve smoothness and reduce fine lines in the cheeks. If you are bothered by fine lines or wrinkles in the cheek area, you may be able to benefit from this treatment. How is SKINVIVE™ Administered at Your Practice?

During your appointment, one of our licensed master injectors will explain the procedure and provide after-care directions. Lidocaine, a common pain reliever, is an ingredient in SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® to keep you comfortable during injection. Multiple microdroplet injections—where a tiny amount of product is injected just below the skin—are performed on each cheek by your provider. A treatment session takes about 15 minutes on average.

What Can I Expect After My SKINVIVE™ Treatment?

There is little to no downtime required following SKINVIVE™ treatment, so you can return to work or your regular activities as soon as you wish. However, we do recommend that patients minimize strenuous exercise, exposure to extensive sun or heat, and alcoholic beverages within the first 24 hours following treatment for optimal results.

Patients can enjoy a noticeable improvement in their skin’s appearance and texture within 2-4 weeks of receiving treatment. SKINVIVE™ results will continue to improve over time as more collagen is stimulated. Patients can enjoy results for up to 6 months and repeated treatment is recommended to maintain results.
