What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 combines radiofrequency and microneedling to fractionally remodel the skin of the face, neck, chest, and body. Delivering energy deep into the skin and subcutaneous tissue, the RF needles generate heat and stimulate collagen production. Morpheus8 is great for all skin types and tones.
How does Morpheus8 work?
Morpheus8 takes microneedling and radiofrequency energy technology to the next level by delivering RF energy deep within the dermis for more extensive tissue remodeling and better results. Morpheus8 uses tiny pins to perforate the skin and create uniform micro-injuries.
As a result, the body’s natural healing process works to repair these micro-injuries, replacing damaged cells and improving the skin’s health and appearance. At the same time, RF (heat) energy travels from the pins into the target area. This heat firms skin and boosts collagen production for both immediate and ongoing repair. The Morpheus8 device is fully adjustable so that it can deliver treatment at varying depths (0.5mm-8mm) depending on individual skin concerns and treatment area.

Complimentary consultations with our treatment specialist are required before all Morpheus8 treatments. At your consultation, we will conduct a thorough health history, outline expectations for treatment, and answer any questions you may have.
When you come to our office on the day of your treatment, your providing specialist may apply numbing cream or administer local anesthesia.
While numbing cream provides a comfortable treatment in most cases, local anesthesia may be needed for deeper Morpheus8 treatment on the body. As soon as the area is sufficiently numb, typically about 30 minutes, your treatment can begin. Your treatment will begin following a spot test to check for adverse reactions.
Our highly-trained treatment specialist will move the Morpheus8 device over the treatment area, applying even treatment throughout the target area. Depending on the size of the treatment area, your session may take 15 minutes up to an hour. While there is no actual downtime after your treatment, you may experience redness, swelling, and itching for one to three days after your treatment. You will be able to apply makeup one to three days after treatment.
Results
You may notice a difference in the condition of your treated skin within a few days of treatment. However, most patients report the most significant difference in their skin’s elasticity about three weeks after treatment. Results will continue to develop for about three months as collagen remodeling takes place.
The number of treatments you will need to reach desired results depends on the condition of your skin before treatment, your treatment goals, and how your skin responds to treatment. Most patients undergo three treatments. Results from Morpheus8 typically last about one year. At this point, you may need another series of treatments or a touch-up session to maintain your results.
