Amanda – AESTHETICIAN, SKIN CARE COORDINATOR
Amanda has been with Heartland Plastic & Hand Surgery since 2019. She brings positive energy and passion for an unmatched patient experience to our team. Amanda has advanced training and education in laser treatments, MicroNeedling with PRP, Coolsculpting®, as well as Ultherapy. She holds certificates in numerous medical-grade skincare products, including Skin-Medica®, Obagi, and Glo Skin Beauty makeup products. Contact Amanda
Kylie, L.P.N. – CLINICAL NURSE
Kylie has been a licensed practical nurse since 2018 and has worked in healthcare since 2012. She is a part of the nursing staff, working alongside our surgeons in the clinic, caring for, educating, and guiding patients before and after surgery. Our nursing staff can help answer questions regarding medications, general wound care, activities after surgery, and concerns of any kind.
Anna – COSMETIC SURGERY CONSULTANT
Anna fills the important role of liaison between cosmetic surgery patients and our surgeons. She meets with patients at the beginning of the cosmetic surgery consultation process and serves as a concierge throughout the pre-surgical phases of care. She has 15 years of experience in this role and is extremely skilled at assisting patients to customize their surgical plan to fit their aesthetic goals, budget, and downtime needs. Anna participates in the consultation alongside our surgeons and provides patients detailed cost quotes and schedules all cosmetic surgery procedures. Her depth of experience working with both of our surgeons since 2001 allows her to answer a vast breadth of questions regarding cosmetic surgery and treatments. Contact Anna
Megan – MARKETING & EVENTS COORDINATOR
Megan has 6 years of marketing experience and is responsible for implementing marketing campaigns across all platforms. She also coordinates all of our special events and promotions. In addition, Megan works with our aesthetic patients, answering questions regarding all surgical and non-surgical services. She serves as a backup to our Cosmetic Surgery Consultant in assisting all of our patients before their cosmetic surgery. Contact Megan
Andrea – DR. HUMPHREY’S MEDICAL SCRIBE
Andrea works alongside Dr. Humphrey during each patient-doctor encounter, assisting him with entering the required documentation in the electronic medical records system. In doing so, she works to facilitate patient flow and ensure an accurate and complete medical record for each patient. Andrea became a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant in 2015.
Kim – PRACTICE MANAGER
Kim is the Practice Manager, in charge of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice and handling all aspects of business operations, acting as a liaison between the physicians and the staff. She has been with Dr. Deisher since the inception of HPHS in 1998. Contact Kim
Melissa – INSURANCE/BILLING COORDINATOR & WORK COMP/HOSPITAL SURGERY COORDINATOR
Melissa submits insurance claims and works on patient accounts. She is committed to answering patient questions regarding their accounts, insurance, outstanding balances, and billing. Melissa is also the liaison between HPHS and Workers Compensation case managers: obtaining insurance information on patients and approval for all worker’s compensation cases, coordinating schedules, and answering questions regarding work status. She will be your point of contact with scheduling all insurance surgeries through both Southeast Hospital and Saint Francis Medical Center. Samantha and Courtney – PATIENT COORDINATORS
Our team of Patient Coordinators is responsible for getting the clinic up and running, greeting and registering patients, verifying insurance, and making patient visits as comfortable as possible. They will handle all medical record requests and FMLA/insurance forms. The team will schedule all follow-up appointments and insurance outpatient surgeries. They will also be responsible for billing outpatient visits, setting up outgoing referrals, and managing the Brilliant Distinctions rewards program.
