LASER HAIR REMOVAL

At Heartland Plastic Surgery, we rely on the top-of-the-line Xeo laser from Cutera to provide our patients with safe, permanent hair reduction by targeting the hair follicle at the root. This treatment is ideally suited for dark, coarse hair on untanned skin. Treatments are given at 6-week intervals and usually require 6-8 treatments. Laser hair removal is the perfect solution for patients who are seeking a long-term, effective alternative to shaving or waxing.

LASER TATTOO REMOVAL

As tattoos have become a more mainstream practice, laser tattoo removal has also become more common. FACIAL LASER TREATMENTS

The full face treatment works by targeting damaged skin with a laser beam to give your complexion a refreshed appearance.

We use the Pico Genesis® system for our laser treatments because it is safe for all skin types including very dark skin and produces results in half the time compared to other cosmetic laser systems. You may be a good candidate if you have uneven skin color and tone, age spots, brown spots, a dull complexion, melasma, and certain signs of aging. If you have non-responsive skin, meaning skin that has not responded to other treatments, a laser treatment plan may be the solution.

SPIDER-VEIN TREATMENT

Laser spider-vein treatment is a procedure that involves treating small blood vessels on the face or body with a laser light.

Laser vein treatment is performed by delivering a beam of short-pulsed light energy. The continuous light beams light from the laser heats the inside layer of the small vein and then zaps it. Finally, the heat causes the blood to clot within the vein and, over a four- to six-week period, to be reabsorbed by the body.

After laser vein treatment, the appearance of existing veins in the treated areas will be diminished or completely eliminated. However, the development of new veins cannot be prevented even on treated skin. If your body has an underlying vascular problem, you may be prescribed more than one treatment. Treatments are effective for most individuals, including those with darker or tanned skin.
